How these guides are made
LearnLife is an online life-skills school for learners, parents and guardians, and educators. These guides are published by the LearnLife editorial team, not by individual named authors.
Where the questions come from
Every guide starts from a question people type into search engines, collected from public search suggestions and grouped by topic. Questions that mean the same thing are merged into one guide, so each guide answers one distinct question.
How a guide is written
Each guide is drafted with AI assistance from a structured brief: the question, the reader it is for (a teen, a young adult, a parent, a teacher), the format that fits (a how-to, a checklist, a lesson plan), and the related guides it can point to. Drafts are then checked automatically before anything is published.
What every guide must pass
- A direct answer near the top, then at least 900 words of explanation organised around the questions readers ask.
- No invented statistics, survey results, study claims or year-specific figures such as tax brackets or contribution limits. Where a number changes over time, the guide points to the official source instead.
- No invented people, quotes or testimonials.
- Citations only from a fixed list of government and established nonprofit sources, such as consumerfinance.gov, irs.gov, ftc.gov, studentaid.gov, cdc.gov and usa.gov. Every source address is checked before publishing.
- No filler phrasing, and no guide that substantially repeats another guide on the same topic.
Drafts that fail a check are rewritten, not published.
What these guides are not
They are general education. They are not legal, financial, tax, medical or mental-health advice for your situation. Laws and rules differ by state and change over time. If you or someone you know is in crisis, call or text 988 in the US.
